ASDT participates in the 5th Conference on Communication of European Funds for Internal Security.
ASDT representatives with the Secretary of State for Security, Aina Calvo, and Manuel Jesús Izquierdo Bernal, Deputy Director General of Information Systems and Communications for Security.

ASDT has participated in the V Conference on Communication of European Funds for Internal Security, held in the Port of Valencia on 28th and 29th November 2025.

The event was organised by the Ministry of the Interior in fulfilment of its public communication obligations to disseminate projects co-financed with European funds.

The meeting brought together institutional representatives, security forces, European organisations and technology companies with the aim of raising the profile of projects co-funded by the European Union to strengthen national security.

During the closing ceremony, Aina Calvo, Secretary of State for Security, He stressed that security is “a strategic asset for Spain and a key element for economic and social development”. He also stressed that European funds represent an essential tool to anticipate, improve operational response and strengthen the state's technological capacity..

Spain has mobilised more than 965 million euros in the 2021-2027 financial framework, promoting more than 100 projects aimed at strengthening borders, combating organised crime and modernising critical infrastructure.

ASDT attended the event together with Telefonica, presenting SENDESCOPE and SJ Box within the framework of the project CENTURY. During the day, Gabriel Collado, ASDT representative, had an exchange of views with Aina Calvo and with Manuel Jesús Izquierdo Bernal, Deputy Director General of Information and Communications Systems for Security at the Ministry of the Interior, responsible for technological coordination in security matters.

Participation made it possible to demonstrate real operational capabilities to European authorities and agencies, The project, reinforcing ASDT's position as a strategic technological partner in critical environments, contributing to the development of solutions applicable to real operations and state-wide projects.
